Artist Details
Jonathan Dunn
Jonathan Dunn was a British programmer and musician who was the main sound designer at Ocean Software.
His video game music career started back in 1987 when he worked for Imagine Software which he eventually left to work for Ocean Software in 1988. He stayed after Infogrames bought Ocean in 1998 and then left in 2000. He worked at Electronic Arts after that before finally retiring from his video game music career.
Dunn's favourite system to compose music for was the Commodore 64 not only because it was what he started with, but also because he was able to write his own audio drivers. During the 1990's he also liked composing on the SNES. Dunn's personal favourite work is his soundtrack for Total Recall on the Commodore 64.
